Cheng Shengye - Piano

Cheng, Shengye was born in Guangdong, China in 2001. He began his music education at the age of three. When he was twelve years old, he attended the Arthur Rubinstein Music School in Bydgoszcz, Poland, in Prof. Maria Murawska's piano class.
Shengye has performed in such Festivals as 9th Paderewski Piano Academy Bydgoszcz (Poland, 2017), 24th International Master Course for Pianists in Wroclaw (Poland, 2017), in New House of Art in Radziejowice (recital in Poland, May, 2018), etc.
He is the winner of many piano competitions, such as:
-the 4th Piano Talents International Competition in Italy (1st Prize and Special Prize F. Chopin, 2014);
-the 3rd Cesar Franck International Competition in Belgium (3rd Prize, 2015);
-the 4th Citta di San Dona di Piave International Competition in Italy (1st Prize, 2016);
-the 7th International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest, Hungary (2nd Prize, 2016);
-the 4th International Carpathian Chopin Piano Competition in Rzeszow Poland (1st Prize, 2017);
-the 19th Santa Cecilia International Competition in Porto, Portugal (1st Prize, 2017);
-the 11th International Competition for Young Pianists Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam in Bydgoszcz, Poland (6th Place, 2017).
